Conflict with 'slideshow'

I use the plugin ‘slideshow’ and since I have installed MapPress Easy Google Maps the slideshows stopped working (wont slide). Can anyone give suggestions as to what I need to do?

I’m using MapPress Easy Google Maps version 2.39.5 and WordPress 3.5.

I’ve tested quite a few map plugins and this one I like the most – i just need to sort out the conflict.
