Conflict with Simple Ajax Chat plugin…
-
The message “WP Plugin SAC: Name and comment required. Please complete all required fields…” comes up when a chant message is entered, when JUST CleanTalk and the Simple Ajax Chat plugin by Jeff Starr are activated, on https://www.ashlandspirit.org… Goes away and all is fine chat-wise, when CleanTalk is deactivated…
The real problem and concern is on the public site unofficialhcr.com, where I have had to deactivated CleanTalk in order for the chat to work… On that site many other plugins are of course also activated…
So I created a new Test cPanel in my reseller account, where I have installed an exact duplicate of unofficialhcr.com, under the ashlandspirit.org domain, as a Test Site, and there is where I have deactivated all plugins except CleanTalk and Simple Ajax Chat… Though I do have Wordfence also activated, for some basic security in the meantime… But Wordfence does not as far as I can tell affect the issue ay all…
If you search Simple Ajax Chat’s support thread you should notice that this same issue has come up a bunch, and I suspect, because the notice is the very same in each case, that it is being experienced by people who are also using CleanTalk…? Jeff Starr has replied over and over that it is not his plugin’s issue, because as he says it doesn’t exist when no other plugins are activated…
Also part of the problem is that the issue can go away, momentary, just for a little bit, but then quickly come back… And the issue behaves a little differently on mobile, where it is also much more present and consistent…
I really want to be able to use CleanTalk on the public site, which is why I’ve set up the Test cPanel and Test Site… I can and will give you as much Admin access to either or both, as you wish, so you can sort this out…?
Kind regards,
JohnAn identical ticket to this one has also been opened on your site, in the support section…
