    Hello,
I’ve using Shortcodes in Menus plugin, which use a description field for showing up shortcodes, but Popup maker replace that field with Popup Trigger dropdown.
How can I disable temporarily it?
    THank you!

@mdxclr – From what I can tell there shouldn’t be any issues. Based on the description and screenshots of their latest version they don’t add any options to the nav menu editor form, they add new menu item types.

Looks like that was changed some time ago though.

That said we added our options in the most compatible way possible, even tested it with 5 other plugins that add options to the menus, had no issues.

That said the description field used to be there by default with WP, we don’t remove, only add, so if its missing we didn’t remove it. I also checked their code, they don’t modify the form your describing. They only have one file and it has no code to modify that form at all, only add new menu item types on the left that you can drag over to your menus.

    Hope that helps.

Here u can see a difference when Popup maker is Activated and Deactivated.

In the Screen options the Description is checked, also other fields like Page / Post / Custom Link without Description too.

So we have a conflict not with that plugin, but in wordpress at all.

I’m using the latest version of WordPress and tried it on a few themes (24 , Enfold etc)

    PS:
When menu is empty and added first element – it has a description field, but after clicking “Save menu” it is missed.
So the problem is exactly with Popup Maker

@mdxclr – Thanks for the clarification. I have tracked it down. Made some tweaks to our code and suggested some for theirs. It should work with Popup Maker v1.5.6 when it comes out shortly though.

    Hope that helps.
