Conflict with Polylang

  • The customizer doesn’t work correctly with Polylang plugin installed. When you write something in the widget and the customizer tries to reload and preview changes, an error message shows up on top of the widget, asking you to reload and retry. Saving changes is not possible.

    The widget keeps working without problem in the widget screen. It only fails in the customizer.

    Using most recent versions of everything, Polylang 1.7.3 and Black Studio 2.2.3.

    Hi David,
    please check out version 2.2.4 that was recently released. It fixes existing issues with Customizer, and it’s probably a solution for your problem too.

    Thanks for answering. After some testing, I have found that the problem isn’t solved. I have tried it in a vanilla installation with no other plugins, themes or anything except WordPress itself, but it’s not working yet.

    sorry for the late answer.
    We finally fixed this issue in our dev branch, which is available on our GitHub repo.
    It will also be available in the next stable release.
