• Hello,

this plugin is very helpful for what i need on my page and it works fine on it’s own.

But I have a problem in conflict with another plugin I use.
I have the ?User Access Manager“ plugin which allows me to create different user groups with restrictions for specific pages.
So i have group1 which can only see page1 for example and group2 which can only the page2.

In this group I have an author and editor specific for the different groups (I use ?Roles“ Plugin to create different authors and editors).
    So group1 has author1 and editor1 = group2 has author2 and editor2.

The problem starts, when I as author1 edit page1 and set this page to revision. Author2 and editor2 of group2 can also see this pending/revised copy of page1 (they can’t the original page1). The Author2 sees all revised pages no matter from which access group this page is and editor2 even can edit/publish the revised copy of the group1 pages.

Also it seems like the copied pages are behaving like subpages for the original page, so actually this pages should also be restrict to the other groups, but in the page list the ?access“ row shows ?full access“ at the revised pages, rather than access > ?access_restricted_group_name“.

So the other plugin ignores the copy of the revised pages and doesn’t give any restriction.

I wanted to ask if the copied pages/revised pages have another post/page type or are treated different in your plugin?

Thanks for the help in advance!

I found out that the revised copies also don’t inherit the categories/tags of the original post/page.

They behave like complete different pages/post – so of course the other plugin/ restricted groups don’t recognize this and allows every group/user to see this.

Is there the possibility to add some kind of behavior to the revised copies so they recognize and inherit this taxonomies (tag/category) of this pages and post?

    That would be really helpful!
