Conflict with NextGen Gallery

Can someone post the answer here? it doesn’t make sense to have loads of people contacting [email protected] to ask the same question over and over.

I asked them after they fixed the issue, but all they told me was that it was a “JQuery conflict.” They didn’t give me specific lines of code or anything.

do you mean they fixed the issue for you? or they fixed the plugin? because you might wanna check again, because i’m having the same issue with the latest versions of both plugins ??

No, they fixed everything for me. I created them a temporary admin username and password, and then they logged in and fixed it for me. The only thing I’m not sure of now, is what will happen when/if NextGen updates their plugin. But for now, everything is working okay.

Dear users every problems are individual, if we see that there is solution which can help to other users we post it here, but if we see some specific conflicts we ask to contact straing to developers in order to fix.
And we also think the update of NextGen will not bring the conflict back, as we touched only our codes and made them compatible to nextgen

I gather if your touching only your code these changes will be made in the next update of IT video gallery?

We usual do not make updates much. But if we make updates, specially for you and all those users for whom we made any kind of modifications, we will send new modifies version

@brycematheson I’m having the same problem. Any chance you could zip and upload the huge-it plugin you have?

I would love to see what they changed and perhaps if that would solve my problem as well. If you don’t know how, let me know, I’ll give you a small description.

No, I don’t use NextGen but a different Gallery plugin which also has a conflict. I contacted your support earlier bij email, and you (or they?) checked the site and let me know the issue was with the other plugin. And now I’m going back and forth between two plugin developers to get a solution.

So, I was hoping by getting the solution for the NExtGen gallery I might be able to extract a solution for myself as well.

Dear Ceremco. NextGen gallery’s jQuery and our gallery’s jQuery couldn’t work with each other, so we had to turn off our jQuery. But not all conflicts can be the same sometimes conflicts appear if the other plugin is written out of wordpress standards, and that cause the conflict with our products which are made due to standards.
So if you contacted our developers, they could say what is the exact reason
