Hello. A client just updated Jetpack and the featured image disappeared from her site. I tried deactivating Jetpack, but nothing changes. I’m trying to figure out what it could be related to because everything appears to be right on the back end.

I see the featured image on the site at this point (in multiple browsers), but it looks like Jetpack is still currently deactivated; is that correct?

The Jetpack module which tends to cause issues with this plugin is Photon, but I’ve just tested the two together on one of my sites and the featured image is still showing. If you reactivate Jetpack and the image disappears, try disabling Photon and see if that helps.

If you are still not seeing the featured image even with Jetpack disabled, you might check what’s causing a couple of JavaScript errors on the site–it looks like they’re coming from AddtoAny?

Thanks for this. I figured out a work-around (and then discovered another issue). I’m thinking it’s not Jetpack that caused the issue, but I’m still figuring out what else my client may have done. And thanks for pointing out the JavaScript errors.

Hello again. I’m wondering if you have any more suggestions. The image appears on every page but the home page. I tried ticking and unticking the “skip front page” box on the settings page, but still no luck. Jetpack has been activated and Photon is deactivated. I also deleted the plugin causing the JavaScript errors.

    Any other suggestions?
