Conflict with Meta Slider and Mobile Theme

  • Hello,

    I have Jetpack installed with the Mobile Theme activated (no other options are). When I view the site on a mobile the Meta Slider is not displayed. If I turn off the Mobile Theme then it all displays fine again.

    I’ve increased memory limit as I was reading that could be an issue but it didn’t help.

    Could you let me know how you’ve inserted this slider on your site? Is it part of your theme, or included via a plugin?

    If the slider is part of your theme, it won’t be displayed when you switch to another theme, like Jetpack’s Mobile Theme.

    If you used a plugin to add this slider, could you post a link to that plugin so I can run some tests on my end?

    Could you let me know where that shortcode was added? Is it part of your theme, or part of a plugin you’ve installed?

    The plugin is called Meta Slider (for the slider) and the short code was generated by meta slider and put into the content block of a page (not in the PHP code of the theme).

    Thanks for the extra details. I added the Meta Slider plugin to a test site of mine, created a slider, inserted it into one of my blog posts, and viewed that blog post on my mobile phone. The Slider was displayed properly:

    Could you let me know what’s displayed instead of the Slider on your site, when on mobile? Could you also post a link to a post where you’ve inserted the slider, so I can have a look?
