Conflict with media upload.

    I found some time ago an issue, and now I had time to try to look more into it.

    Somehow, when Polylang and Updraftplus Backups Plugins are active, I can’t upload media directly or edit the post featured image within Gutenberg.

    I have this message in the Featured Image section:
    To edit the featured image, you need permission to upload media.

    My main language and UI language is Spanish, the original I have is:
    "Para editar la imagen destacada necesitas permisos para subir medios."
    I found this string translation in the WordPress Core translation section.

    And this appears when I try to add a Media Block, I can only insert a media from URL
    "Given your current role, you can only link an image, you cannot upload."

    "Con tu perfil actual solo puedes enlazar una imagen, no puedes subirla."

    I can do it:

    • With Ctrl + V pasting a Image.
    • If I disable any of the plugins mentioned.
    • If I switch to classic editor.

    Of course, I have Administrator role. I tried also with a new Administrator user and it is the same.

    So there must be some kind of conflict somewhere.

    I am using Divi Theme, if that helps.
