    I use ManageWP for managing my sites and the one having Sunshine is experiencing issues since about 3-4 latest updates – maybe since version 3.4: every time a Sunshine update is applied the site loses its connection with ManageWP and I have to reconnect it by re-entering its connection code.
    The error at ManageWP states their plugin has been deactivated but this is not true, only lost the cnnection.

    If you enable error logging, do you get anything in there that can give some clues as to what is going on? Here is how to enable error logging: https://www.sunshinephotocart.com/docs/enabling-error-logging/

    I cannot come up with anything that has majorly changed which would cause this to happen.

    There is no error at WP side, only at my Dashboard of ManageWP.
    And it’s not even an “error” per se. It just disconnects the site from the account of ManageWP.
    But I can wait until the next update of yours to see what happens on WP also.

    You might also want to contact the folks at Manage WP about that, they are always very helpful.
