• Resolved snippet24

    (@snippet24)

I already notified the issue via email and the support sucks, it should be possible to recreate the problem (images not displaying correctly) by adding this code to a template with an envira gallery:
    <script type="text/javascript" src="//downloads.mailchimp.com/js/signup-forms/popup/embed.js" data-dojo-config="usePlainJson: true, isDebug: false"></script><script type="text/javascript">require(["mojo/signup-forms/Loader"], function(L) { L.start({"baseUrl":"mc.us17.list-manage.com","uuid":"4d8f8473f6631eddede0e7b86","lid":"b4fb8c06ed"}) })</script>
Oh please and don’t ask me to give you admin access if you are not even willing to give me admin access to a test wordpress installation. I really don’t want to bad rate the plugin but I’m about to…

  • Hi @snippet24

I apologize for any frustration and I wouldn’t ask you for you admin.

However, this forum is for Envira Lite users only. If this is for Envira premium, please log into your Envira Account, click on the Support tab and submit a support ticket. But it sounds like you’ve already opened a ticket with Envira support so someone will be working with you from that ticket.

    Thanks

Thanks! Someone should already be working with you (from our support team)

Nobody has contacted me, anyways I would prefer to get to the solution here in the forum due to the bad experience with email support previously.

    Hi ??

I can certainly try that. Where exactly did you add the mailchimp code? To the single.php template? Or a special template you custom created in your theme for Envira galleries?

Do you have a link? Can you copy/paste the code from the template.

To footer.php template, while the shortcode of Envira galleries were added via the WYSIG editor of the page, that would be inside the_content.

Can you recreate the bug by adding the javascript code (posted above) in a test page with a Envira gallery set inside the content of the page, if not I can create a hidden page with both the script and a shortcode so you can debug it from there.

    Hi @snippet24

I can see when I try to use it in my footer it causes the Enviratope is not a function error.

I’m trying to find a solution for you. I’ll be back with you shortly

    Hi again ??

Can you confirm this is the entire embed code from your form? Have you also trying using their plugin for this?

    Hi @snippet24

I found an old article here: https://mycyberuniverse.com/mailchimp-subscriber-popup-not-working-in-wordpress.html

Not sure it’s related but I was able to fix the conflict, but I can’t get the form to display: https://demo.enviragallery.com/test-lite/

So that’s why I was curious if you’ve tried using their plugin to add the scripts to the site to see if that resolves it as well.

P.S. That is a demo site we use for premium currently running the latest version of the Envira Lite. I’ll be needing to turn off Lite and reactivate the premium plugins soon so please let me know.

    Thanks

I didn’t use the Mailchimp plugin I only inserted the script in the footer, provided from their website. The earlier code posted in the first comment includes all the code I added (the two scripts). Right now I’m afraid im going on a trip right now.

    Hi @snippet24

I’m very sorry, I’ve had to report this to the developers.

I can certainly keep you posted on the resolution to the conflict once we can find it.

I would also try the plugin rather than injecting the code. When using their embed code it’s stopping WordPress from loading the jQuery library.

    Hey again @snippet24 ??

Just wanted to let you know that I do have the devs looking at this. The funny thing is with Envira premium that code works without issue: https://cl.ly/225127672290

So I’m sure this is something they will find for you I’m just not sure of the time frame.

    But I’ll keep you posted!

    Thanks

Hello aky01usa, has there been any progress?

Hi @snippet24 not yet. We can see it working on our premium version and our devs even had it working on the Lite version when using no other plugins but Soliloquy Lite and a WordPress default theme.
