This topic is related to all wpDiscuz users who use LiteSpeed Cache plugin. Current version of LiteSpeed Cache plugin stops all functions of wpDiscuz is the <span style=”color: #ff0000;”>LiteSpeed Image Lazy Load option</span> is enabled. We’ll continue to investigate and try to find some workaround in near future. But currently you should disable this option to start using wpDiscuz plugin.

Please follow to these two simple steps to fix the compatibility issue:

    STEP 1
    Navigate to <span style=”color: #0000ff;”>Dashboard > LiteSpeed Cache > Page optimization > Media Settings Tab</span> and disable the <span style=”color: #ff0000;”>”Images Lazy Load”</span> option:

  • Hi,

If I disable the lazy load, will it impact my SEO a lot, you think? When you say “near future”, are we talking days or months, or something in-between?

    Cheers,
    Petra

    Hi,

I think it’s better to exclude them, rather than disable the whole Lazy Load.

    1. just go to LiteSpeed cache > page optimization
    2. click on [5] media exclude tab
    3. add “wmu-preview-img” (without quotes) in Lazy Load Image Class Name Excludes
    4. Click Save Changes
    5. Click Purge All button

No, it’ll not impact for sure, the difference is not so big.
Saying near future I mean the next version release.

Ok, thank you both – @philipfaster and @gvectors-team – I’ll explore my options.
