• Hi,
When Worth The Read is activated with LearnDash, the Focus Mode menu text seems to get removed.
I launched a staging site and disabled all other plugins and the main theme (Divi) so Twenty Twenty-Three is active and the issue persists.

The LearnDash menu that should show the profile link and course “home” link appears upon hover, but the text itself is missing.

    <a class="ld-focus-menu-link ld-focus-menu-266189" href="https://thespeakeasycooperative.staging.tempurl.host/my-programs/"></a>

With Worth The Read deactivated, all the menu items display properly, and the above element renders like this:

    <a class="ld-focus-menu-link ld-focus-menu-266189" href="https://thespeakeasycooperative.staging.tempurl.host/my-programs/">My Programs</a>

No error appears in the logs or in the console.

Any idea what could cause this, or how to troubleshoot?

    WordPress Version 6.1.1
    Worth The Read Version 1.12
    PHP tested with v 7.4 and 8.0

Note the above site is a membership and the link will not be visible.

So are you saying that you have the default Twenty Twenty-Three theme with Worth the Read active on the staging site and no other plugins, and the issue persists? If so, what is generating the LearnDash menu? Have you added this code custom, or. have you created a menu with this link in the Appearance >> Menus page? I would like to try and replicate this on my end.

My apologies, LearnDash was also activated. So the menu that shows up is generated by LearnDash.

There is a default menu that will show up in the top right corner in LearnDash’s “Focus Mode” when you are a going through a course. This will have two menu items, “Program Home” and “Logout”.

You can also create a menu in Appearance >> Menus and assign it to the menu location called “LEARNDASH: FOCUS MODE DROPDOWN” if you want to add more menu items.

I got the same result whether I used the default menu or created a new one.

    I hope that helps.
    Thank you.

Is LearnDash a WordPress plugin, and if so, can you direct me to where I can download it so I can do some compatibility testing?

Hi Brian. Yes, LearnDash is a popular premium LMS plugin for WordPress. Here is their website.

Unfortunately, there is no free version, but they may have options for developers.
