• I started rolling iThemes Security Pro across many websites and enabling Google reCAPTCHA for the WordPress login page. Works fine except on websites that have NextGEN Gallery installed. I’ve turned off/on all plugins to verify. It works if NextGEN Gallery is off and NextGEN Pro is on — but then the gallery doesn’t appear on the page it should.

It seems like there is extra NextGEN Gallery-specific Javascript inserted in the source code when that plugin is active. I’ve looked through all the plugin options for any setting to adjust that. Ideally would be best to limit it only to the page the image gallery is actually on.

Does anyone know of a way to prevent the code from appearing in the WordPress login page?

Here’s an example of the wp-login.php source code:

I highlighted in blue what new code appears — not found when compared to a similar website without NextGEN Gallery installed.

    Website config/settings:
    WordPress: v4.1
    NextGEN Gallery: 2.0.66.37
    NextGEN Pro: 2.1.4
    PHP Version: 5.4.10
    MySQL Client Version: 5.0.77
    Theme: Avada v3.7.1
    Hosting: Rackspace Cloud Sites

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

@roland Reinhart – We have addressed this issue of the scripts appearing on the login page in our next (major) release of NextGEN Gallery (version 2.0.68+) … we hope to have at least a beta version out very soon.

    Thanks!

    – Cais.
