I emailed them to let them know of this issue and they promised that they will get back to me this coming week.

I suggest you send them an email as well so they know that the problem is for other systems as well and not just for me.

You can contact them at : https://www.webilop.com/contact-us/

Solved my dilemma, here’s what I did in the end:

Deactivated all plugins, then brought them back on one @ a time. to estabish that it was a conflict with HTML5 video plugin and Jetpack (while in maintainance mode over night).

Found a working plugin that has worked out fine for my purposes – “WooCommerce – Embed Videos To Product Image Gallery” – went with that. I’ll keep hold of HTML5 video plugin while we wait to here from them.

After adding the Instant Search, Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /www/asterapr/users/asterapr-unispor/www/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-html5-video/WooCommerceHTML5Video.php on line 11

Hey @structuraldetails, we have solved the bug you reported, it was due to a wrong JS script loading. Please download new version 1.7.1 and test it again.

@AlexVeres, apparently you are using a PHP version lower to 5.3. The plugin uses namespaces and your error is in a line of a namespace creation. WordPress recommendation is using PHP 5.6 or higher, so our recommendation is upgrade your PHP version if it is the case.

@chansford13 the problem that you reported with Jetpack was also fixed in version 1.7.1 of the plugin. It was related to the same bug that we fixed.
