I was using your plugin and Icegram for popups for a while and recently the popups stopped working….icegram said it was conflict with Autoptimizer so I deactivated it and got my popups but would like to run this as well….any ideas?

@jeanwfry @icegram Autoptimize has a settings-page where you can tweak settings to troubleshoot those kind of issues. the FAQ has a troubleshooting-howto and explains how specific scripts (or css) can be excluded from optimization (which is what I suspect will have to be done here). have a look at FAQ & settings and if any questions; shoot ??

I looked at it and have no idea what to do. I am a Realtor not a technology expert. Can you help me?

well, let’s try to take this step by step.

step 1: keep autoptimize active, but disable JS optimization and check if it works. if not, re-enable JS optimization and disable CSS optimization and check if it works. if still not OK, re-enable CSS optimization and disable HTML optimization. please report back your findings ??

Doing step one worked!!! Is there anything I should do on a regular basis with this to keep my site running well?

    Thanks so much!!!

OK, so which optimization did you need to disable in the end @jeanwfry?

    I disabled JS optimization.

OK, you could leave it like that, or you could try to identify which (Icegram) JS to exclude from JS optimization, allowing you to keep on optimizing JS as well. That would be step 2 ??

I am game to try step 2. Tell me what to do….you lead I will follow!

OK, can try simply adding icegram to the comma-separated list of JS optimization exclusions (and activating JS optimization, off course)?

Perfect I added icegram.js then restarted and it worked! FYI for us non tech folks I tried just icegram first….and the restart was needed…..

    THANKS SOOOOO MUCH!!!
