Hi, I just noticed a problem with my websites built with pagebuilder and Gravity Forms (if SO is enabled, forms don’t show on page). I use a GF lot so I would need to fix this fast.

    Thank you

    Hi @capucinegaudry

So this sort of depends on:

    1. Are these forms inserted into Page Builder? If so:

In the past we’ve seen an issue with Gravity Forms with conditional logic not display within Page Builder when inserted with Gravity Forms widget. The last time I looked at this it only applied to forms with conditional logic. The workaround is to insert the form using the shortcode via the SiteOrigin Editor widget or Black Studio widget instead of the Gravity widget. That’s the only conflict that’s open that we’re aware of. So perhaps test that out.

    2. If these forms aren’t inserted into Page Builder and inserted into regular widget areas or via the regular WP editor and they just disappear when Page Builder is activated then something else is up and you’ll need to troubleshoot.

That process is essentially stripping everything away until the problem resolves and then adding back until it breaks again. With all plugins deactivated at once except PB and GF, does the issue resolve? Go from there.

    1. No I tried both way (widget and shortcode in a visual editor widget (text side)
    2. The ones in the widget areas worked fine

    Thanks.

We’re able to insert GF into PB so your next step would be to move onto plugin conflict troubleshooting.

Deactivate all plugins at once, leave Page Builder and Gravity Forms activated. Insert a form into Page Builder. Does the issue persist. If the issue does not persist and forms insert normally, you have a plugin conflict. Reactivate your plugins one by one to locate the conflict.

Still loading forever all plugins are disabled except GF and PB

The next troubleshooting step would be to switch from your current theme to a default theme like Twenty Sixteen and test again with only Gravity Forms and Page Builder.

If you continue to see an error, try both the Forms widget and a SiteOrigin Editor with shortcode to insert.

If you continue to see an error, check the console for errors, if errors are there, copy and send them.

Ok, I am freaking out because I changed theme and now it’s ok… I am on the Genesis Framework with a custom child theme and lots of my sites are on Genesis!!!

    Hi capucinegaudry

Can you please try replicating this issue with the Genesis theme directly activated? I ask because it’s possible the issue is specifically with the child theme you’re using.

The forms work fine with Genesis if I disable Site Origin

Yup it’s something inmy child theme…

    Hi capucinegaudry,

This sadly means the issue is with your child theme – not Genesis. I’m not too sure what could be causing this issue as I’m unfamiliar with your child theme. How complicated is your child theme?
