    Dear Alekv,

We are running the following setup:
    – WP4.01 / WooCommerce 2.2.8 / Emporium theme
    – Google Analytics by Yoast plugin 5.1.4
    – WooCommerce Google Analytics Integration plugin 1.3.0

We would like to track AdWord campaign conversion rates and believe your plugin would be ideal.

However, are you aware of any form of conflict with your plugin in this setup, i.e. would there be a conflict with Google Analytics ? I am concerned that there may be a duplicate tracking that could cause a conflict.

Secondly, I wonder whether we could also include in your plugin affiliate marketing tracking codes ?

    Many thanks for your advice.

    Kind regards,

    Biu

    Hi Biu

There are no conflicts with a proper Analytics installation and my plugin.

But if you run Google Analytics by Yoast plugin 5.1.4 AND WooCommerce Google Analytics Integration plugin 1.3.0 you most probably will get wrong stats in Analytics. WooCommerce Google Analytics Integration is just fine. Yoast’s plugin started to implement e-commerce tracking too, but I haven’t tested it yet. Just make sure you don’t use both at the same time.

Regarding affiliate marketing: My plugin is not intended for this. There are other plugins which will enable you to add (static) code to your page.

    Cheers
    Aleks

    Dear Aleks,

    Many thanks for your reply.

We have installed both of the following and use them at the same time:
    – Google Analytics by Yoast plugin 5.1.4
    – WooCommerce Google Analytics Integration plugin 1.3.0

However, we unticked the checkbox ‘add tracking code to your site. You don’t need … 3rd party analytics plugin.’

It seems to track correctly and it doesn’t look like there is double counting.

I will keep a close watch to see if double counting occurs.

Many thanks for your clarification on the affiliate marketing.

    With kind regards,

    Biu
