conflict with get_password_reset_key

    Hi I am trying to trigger a notice to a new user by using the below

    get_password_reset_key( $user );
    It then returns the following error
    “Password reset is not allowed for this user”

    which i eventually tracked down to a conflict with this plugin. When deactivated it works. Is this a known bug or is there a workaround?

    Turns out it can be resolved by unchecking “Enable Lost Password Form Protection” in the settings.
