Conflict with Genesis child themes

1. On the events and single event page, the plugin strips the post titles and author info from the ‘Featured Posts’ and ‘Featured Page’ widgets in the footer; all other pages show no issues. Line 326 of tribe-events-full.css the header.entry-header, header.entry-meta, footer.entry-header and footer.entry-meta are set to display: none; Why??
2. In Genesis Theme Settings/Content Archives if you set Display to ‘Entry excerpts’ instead of ‘Entry content’ the calendar outputs the following –

I don’t want full Blog posts appearing in the archive page, but unless I accept this, the calendar doesn’t display.
I was referred here by your ‘Pre-sales Support’ team and whilst I can understand the logistics of limiting support for ‘Non-paying’ customers, suggesting that I contact my theme devs for help in solving a plugin conflict or buy a PRO version before I get support from you, hasn’t got us off to a good start. I need to take bookings and payments, so a paid option is a ‘no-brainer’ for me, but not until the basic FREE version works. Paying or non-paying, we are still customers!
