Conflict with Enhanced Media Library?

    Hi, I know I’m dealing with two separate developers and neither of ya’ll are under any obligation to make these addons work together, but I’m really hoping because I love both of them!

    This is the Enhanced Media Library plug in I am using.

    Here is a link to my site where I’ve set up two essentially identical, dummy galleries.

    The first one was created using
    [gallery media_category="6"] (the EML gallery)

    The second one was created as a native gallery with
    [gallery ids="199,198,197,196,106"] (which looks great with your plug-in ?? )

    Do both galleries look the same to you? I tested on a secondary PC to make sure it wasn’t just me, but they are still on the same network.
    Here’s what I’m seeing:

    It seems the JG effects are not applied to the first gallery, which is the one that uses the category tag (which is from EML) in the shortcode.

    Ok. I already know what you mean ??

    My plugin doesn’t support the media_category as a gallery param. It is normal because this param is specific for the EML gallery.

    The EML gallery will be supported in the next plugin release (a few weeks, maybe earlier).

    If you haven’t a lot of photos, you can use ids="199,198,197,196,106"
    instead media_category="6" until the update.

    Awesome, that is fantastic news! We’re in the very preliminary process of setting up so I think we can get by for a few weeks lol

    Justified Gallery looks like a nice plugin that supports native WP galleries. Damian, thank you for fixing the compatibility issue. I’ll add Justified Gallery to our list of compatible plugins on the next update.
