    Hi Nicolas,

I’ve updated Elementor v2.0.16 to v2.1.1 and the Posts Slider vanished from the page it was set to. I also have Elemetor pro v2.09 installed.

Downgrading Elementor back to v2.0.16 fixed the issue.

Any idea if that’s a bud with Elementor or with Ocean Posts Slider?

    TIA.

Hello, have you an error in your console? If there is a JS error on the page, the slider will not work.

I didn’t check actually. I was in a hurry to fix the issue by downgrading…
PS: Sorry, just saw now I forgot to click on Submit, so the comment is sent late unfortunately.

Ok, now I had some time to check this, so I’ve installed the updates again and as I thought – the post slider disappeared.

Investigating the code, I saw the post slider was there but not showing, so I suspected Autoptimize. I’ve disabled it – and the slider appeared. So I’ve re-enabled HTML and CSS cache in Autoptimize and the post slider was still there. To cut a long story short – in the JS cache section I had an option on (Add try-catch wrapping?
). Turning it off and clearing cache, brought the slider back.

Oh, and it has nothing to do with elementor… sorry.

Glad that you find the solution. Always disable your caching plugin when you have a problem because most of the time it is because of a misconfiguration.
