Hi there, I’ve been using Autoptimize for a long time and worked fine, loved it. I’ve recently bought Elementor Pro, a page builder plugin. Unfortunately there’s a conflict between the 2 plugins so I had to deactivate Autoptimize. What I’m saying is that Autoptimize is a great plugin, but does not tolerate Elementor Pro. The Elementor team knows about this issue, I think Autoptimize team should be informed as well. I’d return using Autoptimize if the conflict was solved.

  • In order to get the live site to work with AO, I think I had to exclude this file wp-content/themes/oceanwp/assets/js/main.min.js. But now I’m looking at the cloudways site, and without that file excluded, it is working, so I don’t know what’s going on. I just remember, that some combination of settings in AO, allowed me to get the site down from over 10 seconds on gtmetrix, to under 2 seconds, but when I did that, those items I mentioned weren’t working anymore. I’m going to have to check more carefully and see exactly when the error occurred and I’ll get back to you

    Hi Frank,
I think I have it working ok now. Only using Autoptimize along with SG (SiteGround) CachePress plugin. Take a look and see what you think, this is the live site, not the CloudWays site.
