Conflict with Elementor page builder?

    Our client has a one-page site built with Elementor page builder. One owner wants the ability to go into that page and edit.

    I created an Author account and used Members to grant permission to edit and publish pages (not delete). When I test that login, it only offers the ability to View the page. Tips?

    This is apparently inherent to WordPress. Got results by starting with an Editor role instead of Author, and then making modifications with the Members plugin. Same path, different starting point.

    Surprised this went a week with no response from the plugin provider.
