Conflict with elementor

    Hi, the page displays fine in the backend, but when viewing in frontend it’s broken. I have tried to disable all plugin except elementor pro and buddypress and builder plugin and revert to the default wordpress theme but still get the error

    Hey there,

    Thanks for writing back

    In this case, please use specifically the elements below within your Member Directory template:

    1. Members Navigation
    2. Member Filters
    3. Member Listing

    There shouldn’t be any other BuddyBuilder widgets within this specific template by default within our plugin.
    Once this s done, you can then look into the members area page once again (the page that you have currently assigned to be your BuddyPress members page).

    Yes those should be the only available BuddyBuilder widget elements for the “BuddyBuilder Members Directory” template, by default.

    Thanks for keeping in touch with us

    In this case, there is likely conflicting content within that page that had been added originally. Could you kindly try creating and publishing a fresh page from the Pages > Add New section within your WordPress dashboard and do not add any content to it. Once this is done, assign the page to act as your members page on the Settings > BuddyPress > Pages > Members dropdown and save your changes.

    With the above done, create a fresh Member Directory template with only the 3 elements (Members Navigation, Member Filters, Member Listing) and assign it to “Members Directory” under BuddyBuilder > Dashboard.

    You may then check on the view of the new page earlier created.

    Let me know the output from this.

    Thanks for keeping in touch with us

    In this case, I just inspected the HTML within the new page and its seems that you could still be using the original Member Directory template and not the template I asked you to create. For example I can see that elements such as the Heading Title still read as “Members”, similar to the original template. Please ensure that you specify the new template created, within the BuddyBuilder > Dashboard > Members Directory section.

    In addition, please temporarily disable other third-party plugins currently in placein the meantime, apart from BuddyPress, BuddyBuilder and Elementor.

    In this case, checking on your screenshots, the instructions I previously highlighted are not fully carried out. As can be seen in your screenshot, you still have “Member Directory Starter” as your Member Directory template, which shouldn’t be the case following the instructions I had previously provided:

    “With the above done, create a fresh Member Directory template with only the 3 elements (Members Navigation, Member Filters, Member Listing) and assign it to “Members Directory” under BuddyBuilder > Dashboard.”

    Please carry out this instruction. You can create a new template by clicking on the “create new” link on the “Members Directory” section as can be seen in your screenshot.

    In this case, yes now the new template you created is okay. However, you shouldn’t add anything to the test page. The only thing that you should carry out is assigning the new template as the Members Directory template within the BuddyBuilder > Dashboard section.

    That’s what I did previously but you said it was wrong- The test page had nothing on it before so I’ll delete the template off again

    In this case, I’m not sure we are on the same page here based on the screenshot you just sent. In my previous reply, I mentioned that the screenshot you sent was correct in regards to how the new template was designed. All I need you to do was assign the new template you created as the Members Directory template within the BuddyBuilder > Dashboard section. No other adjustment. This action has not been carried out yet checking on your screenshot. You shouldn’t be seeing “Member Directory Starter” as the assigned template if the action is carried out.

    Let me know if something is not clear on your end.
