Conflict with "Custom Field Template"

    I’ve noticed with the latest version of both of these plugins, trying to update any custom field using CFT results in nothing happening if The Events Calendar is active. If I deactivate the events calendar then CFT works as expected.

    I was tracing the code and edit_meta_value (of CFT) never even gets executed when The Events Calendar is enabled.

    I was able to work around the issue by setting the priority of the add_action (to edit_meta_value) call to 1 from 100 – but I’m unsure if this has other side effects.

    Just to be clear, is this the plugin you are referring to (by CFT)?

    So this is looking like a failing on our end – we’ll try to look into this and sort out a solution and I’ll update you as soon as that has been done.

    We are having this very same issue (on two sites)! Any idea as to the timing of a resolution? Thank you!!

    Any info about when the update is going to be released? I am currently having big issues from this conflict on multiple websites.

    Searching posts filtered by custom meta keys also causes issues. If I disable the Events Calendar plugin, everything works as expected, otherwise, it does not.
