Conflict with Critical CSS – no is_404()

Hello, I recently purchased Critical CSS through Autoptimize. But it produced a strange error with 404 pages (see support thread).

We narrowed it down to 404page not returning is_404() as true for the custom 404 page. This seems like a miss that might be creating conflicts for others in other contexts.

Can we get this changed/fixed? Thanks!
