    Hi,

    YOAST seems to conflict with the Convertkit plugin in that when both plugins are enabled, YOAST prevents the “pick form for this category” field from the CK plugin to display on category pages and also triples the description field.

    Hi @wonderful-wanderings,

    We see that you’ve reported the issue in our Github repository here.
    It seems they have found the cause, but we have not received any further information or reports from other users.

    Have you updated your ConvertKit plugin to the latest version? If you have and the issue persists, have you contacted the ConvertKit plugin developers for further assistance? They created an issue for this problem in their Github repository.

    I have. They told me that the latest update of the YOAST plugin would fix the issue but it didn’t. They’re not being very responsive in regards to the matter.

    As you could see, I didn’t get a reply to my comment on Github so I thought I’d try here as well.

    Hi,

    We just checked on our sites and we can confirm that the issue persists in the latest version of Yoast SEO and ConvertKit.

    Looking at the ConvertKit issue, it seems the problem will be solved in version 1.6.3 of their plugin. However, we cannot say for sure as we are not familiar with their development process.

    It seems that they don’t really know what’s happening either.

    The first time I contacted them, they indeed told me the issue would be solved in the 1.6.3. version of their plugin but when I asked when that would be released, I didn’t get a reply. Then when I followed up, another CK support rep told me the issue should have been solved with the new YOAST update, but it wasn’t.

    I then tried their Facebook group, where Nathan Barry himself told me he was unaware of such an issue and would check with the team. This was a week ago.

    Not very impressed with their support.

    We understand your concern. Since the same issue is also opened in our development repository, our development team will look into this too and if we can fix this from our end, we’ll surely do.
