conflict with Content Blocks (Custom Post Widget) intext:”Plugin: Events Manager

I can’t leave this problem visible right now, but I’ve provided a screen grab, linked below. Apparently, a plugin I use on almost every site — Content Blocks (Custom Post Widget: Show the content of a custom post of the type ‘content_block’ in a widget or with a shortcode) — is conflicting with EM. If I add the Content Block to a widget area (in the sidebar or footer), it pulls a duplicate of the event into that widget area.

Has anyone else encountered this issue / does anyone have a solution for this? The Content Block plugin is pretty essential, for me, and I can’t find a good replacement for it.
