Conflict with Contact Form 7 Ajax?

    Whenever NextGen gallery is active on our website, it prevents Contact Form 7 Ajax from functioning. You click send on the form and nothing happens. (As a temporary fix, I have replaced the spinning circle for a green tick gif, because ‘send’ still sends an email.)
    The conflict occurs sitewide while the NextGen plugin is active.
    I note that there have been previous conflicts with Contact Form 7 that have been resolved. I have not read of this described – can anyone offer advice on fixing?

    (There is a contact form at the bottom of the page. Clicking it will fail to trigger the normal validation checks.)
