Conflict with Contact Form 7

    As I also needed a form on my contact page, I installed Contact Form 7, but there’s a conflict with the translations: The .mo and .po files are getting copied and added to wp-content/languages/plugins and it messes with the RSVP plugin : my site is in French, and elements appears in English (but not all of them, just some), Instead of “First name” and “Last name” as the verification form, it appears “Name” and “Name” .

    I haven’t tested in other languages, but I assume it will mess the same.

    Anyone has a clue?

    The languages files keeps conflicting in the wp-content/languages/plugins?folder (contact-form-7 files and rsvp files).

    UPDATE : I’ve removed CF7, the problem is still there: as soon as the translation files are duplicated to wp-content/languages/plugins, it screws the translations (French).

    As it is not currently resolved, and you finally reached out after a week of asking in the forum and then trying to contact you via email, I don’t think this thread should be closed. I do feel that it might even beneficiate others if they are in the same situation as me.
