Conflict with Contact Form 7

  • I have use Plugin Organizer for a year but last few days I have install Contact Form 7 which is popular. It seem that after some hours I can’t count the form will not work. It just hang there sending but never complete. I didn’t Disabled it at all. The form are appear correctly but it just can’t complete sending message. And it happen after few hours after as I notice. It was working fine for few hours.

    It also conflict with Caldera Form too. After click send the page layout get mess up and it say message sent but it actually not.

    Ive used contact form 7 for years with plugin organizer and never had a problem. Go to the plugin organizer settings page and click the plugin search tab. Search for contact form 7 to see where it has been disabled.

    I did that. I disable it on Global and Enable only on Contact page and suddenly it not work (form appear but function not working).

    Anyway now Contact Form 7 seem to load only on page it have been insert so no need to disable it for global anymore.

    The problem you were experiencing was because you disabled it globally. Contact form 7 doesn’t post the form to the page you are on. It posts to a different url. So when the form was posted contact form 7 was not active on that url. Contact form 7 posts to a url with json. Usually something like https://www.whateveryourdomainis.com/wp-json/contact-form-7/v1/contact-forms/32633/feedback. You can create a plugin filter with the permalink set to https://www.whateveryourdomainis.com/wp-json/contact-form-7/ and select also affect to children. THen enable contact form 7 on that filter to solve your problem.
