Conflict with Blockpress Theme

Does the header and menu only dissapear on Youzify page? Please try disable Youzify but keep BuddyPress active. And let me know if the header and menu keep dissapear or not?

You’re right. I confirm there’s an incompatibility between Youzify and BlockPress theme. I have forwarded this to our developer team.

They will investigate and try to find a solution asap. ??

Our developer team has tried their best. But the plugin has uncommon structure code for the hader and footer.

I suggest you to reach the theme author and ask them to guide us how to include header and footer.

Because we are using default wordpress get_header() and get_footer() fucntions but they are not working properly.

I guess, this plugin doesn’t support Block themes, because block themes have no header.php, footer.php files like Classic themes. Better to ask author for support.

I’ve tried over a dozen FSE block themes and they all do the same, even 2022 theme. It is an issue with the missing header.php/footer.php. This isn’t the only plugin that has this issue. I’ve run across a few where you lose the header & footer but somehow still get the site-title and tagline.

What’s odd is that buddypress works fine and youzify works on top of buddypress.

The Full Site Editing website has an article called “How to use PHP templates in block themes” that looks like a workaround.

I hope there is resolution to this as the FSE block themes are the future of WP. I love the plugin, but useless if I cannot include it with my header and footer..
