I have 2 wp installations with WPFront User
    I activated bbPress 2.5.5
Installation 1: bbPress Admin Menu items installed, but I now I cannot change (add or subtract) capabilities from ADMIN or any bbPress role.

Installation 2: bbPress Admin was missing! I deactivated WPFront user, and the bbPress Admin appeared. With a different role plugin, I can change all bbPress role capabilities.

Your plugin is great, but this conflict with bbPress is a problem.

As far as I know, bbPress resets its roles to default settings after you modify it, so you will loose your changes.

I haven’t looked into any filters/actions to workaround it. Its in my to do list.

This is not resolved. WPFront User and bbPress cannot be active on the same site.

I’m sorry, but I don’t find that statement as true. I’m using bbPress and obviously my plugin on wpfront.com to manage forums. If you search in the WordPress forums or WPFront forums, you can see that others asking about bbPress questions. It is because its working for them. “WPFront User and bbPress cannot be active on the same site” without any other information is not useful at all. You may be having a conflict from different plugin or your theme.

If you are concerned about marking this topic as “resolved”, I have changed it back to “not resolved”.

    Thanks

    Syam
