Since 3.0.0 there seems to be a conflict with BBPress. If TSF is activated, all BBpress topics and replies disappear. The URLs are still reachable, but the content is not showing up anymore (just on the frontend).

Unfortunately I didnt have time to check if there are other plugins interfering but it definitely only happens when TSF is activated.

  • Hey @merlunix, hope you have okey weekend so far ?? I just tried latest BBPress with latest TSF and it work fine for me (new topic, reply, front-end, back-end), so I don’t see any surface issue. First, please try to rule out possible conflict with other plugins. Look especially for plugins that rewrite URLs.

If you end up with just TSF and BBPress active, and you still have issues, try any default theme to rule out the theme.

If nothing of above works, please follow up here and we’ll investigate deeper. Thanks!

Hi @lebaux, thanks for the fast reply! All good here ??

I tested with other plugins and it does not seem to be connected. After some testing with the SEO settings on the staging server I found out that the query alteration settings were set to “database” in the performance options. Changing to “website” solved the problem for now.

Hey @merlunix, nice to see someone actually using testing environment ?? I’m sorry I wasn’t really able to help — I was just not able to replicate the issue on my installation ??

Thank you for finding a time to fiddle with the plugin, you narrowed down scope of further investigation; and that always helps a ton. I see you marked the issue as resolved, however I’m guessing @cybr (plugin author) will drop by later to shed some light on the issue. Thank you for your patience!

If any more issues surface, just follow up here.

Thanks, @lebaux for handling support ??

And thank you @merlunix for your useful bug report!

I’ve created a GitHub issue for this. A fix is planned to be released with 3.0.3, but I expect bbPress needs a patch instead:

@merlunix I’ve found a workaround for 3.0.3, and reported it here:
