conflict with ‘Amazon Associates Link Builder’plugin

  • THere is some conflict with ‘Amazon Associates Link Builder’plugin

    when both active it is not possible to save any of the BackWPup job setting they will go back to blank.

    Took The Amazon plugin out of the plugin folder and all is back to normal and working as it should.

    As far as I could see the amazon plugin was not effected

    I wonder if you could replicate this issue, find the cause and fix it.

    I reported it to ‘Amazon Associates Link Builder’plugin as well.

    Same problem here, when the plugin “Amazon Associates Link Builder” is activated the backup doesn’t work. Is there a bug fix by now?

    Running WordPress Version 5.1.1 and when I activate the Amazon Associates Link Builder plugin I get font encoding issues. Strange characters appear in all the postings where characters like apostrophes and such should be. When I deactivate the plugin these issues disappear. Any solutions other than to stop using the plugin?
