Conflict with ACF

Not sure if this helps you guys, the following is the error thrown in console

Uncaught Error: No select2/compat/dropdownCss

I will try that, thanks, but it’s really not a long term solution, I don’t think. I appreciate you need to include certain functionality, but surely there must be a better i.e. more permanent way?

To provide a long-term solution, does this happen when editing a custom field in ACF? or where exactly is the conflict noticed?

In ACF, when using a Post Object field type, the field type-specific options (i.e. not the more general options seen in all fields) that use dropdowns in the field settings are not selectable. They can be seen, and technically can be scrolled, but the dropdown itself does not function correctly.
