Conflict With Accordians Plugin

    With a recent update it seems that the footnotes plugin is in conflict with PickPlugins Accordian. It is causing the text from the entire accordian to display down below the accordian itself. This duplication of content from the accordian is thereby affecting the numbering and organization of footnotes. Is this something that can be resolved through your support or do I need to work with PickPlugins?

    Glad it works! Regarding accessibility, I’ve just tried in vain to fix the issue with the tab key skipping the other section headings; it works only to expand the first section, presumably because the internal jQuery script, that sets this behavior, targets the accordion as a whole, and I don’t get it changed without breaking it. HTML on the other hand, with added tabindex="0" just enables whichever element to get focus but does nothing else.
    Implementing accessibility here is a challenge. All the best and good luck!

    @kristencahill, once the accordion has focus, all sections are navigatable using tue up/down arrow keys. Sorry for not noticing this sooner. Just a rectification of what I’d posted, since you

    also appreciate […] feedback on the accessibility of the accordian.

    On a side note, @rumperuu, I’m sorry for having made this misleading statement:

    delimiter shortcodes […] [ref]…[/ref], […] are removed from schema data as part of removing all shortcodes when generating the schema output.

    That turns out being not applicable.
