    Hello,

The fact that we can narrow down search results by selecting categories detected on the search results page is great, but this feature disappears when I add this snippet:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/exclude-events-from-wordpress-search-results/

Also, I have a similar conflict with Relevanssi (free version), where this feature also disappears by the simple fact of having Relevanssi activated (even if I don’t use its search tool).

Since it happens with two different plugins, I contact you first. Let me know if there is something I can do while you investigate what is going on.

    Thank you.

    Léo

    Hello @leobo

Thank you for your interest in Filter Everything plugin.

In general both these plugins and Filter Everything also modify WP_Query in accordance with their goal. And this is the reason of conflict. As option you can try to play with priority for all these plugins or you can re-attach The Events Calendar and Relevanssi hooks from the ‘pre_get_posts‘ hook to the ‘wpc_filtered_query_end‘ that fires after Filter Everything did its work.

Ok, thank you for the detail. I’ll try that.
