It looks like the problem comes from these 2 files:

    third-party/jquery.bxslider/jquery.bxslider.css
    third-party/jquery.bxslider/jquery.bxslider.js

Something must be in conflict with the built-in Qode carousels of the Minimum theme.

Apparantely, the built in slider of the theme and the Kiwi plugin are both based on the same slider (BX-Slider). That’s where the conflict comes from.

Now, if anyone has an idea on how to overcome this and still keep Kiwi, because the features it offers are cool… let me know.

Are you sure your theme doesn’t have a carousel shortcode?

Unfortunately, I had to move away from Kiwi in the meantime. I’m not a programmer and could not really figure out the conflict, so I uninstalled the plugin.

I have the same issue. It seems that installin the plugin causes a script that is used by ‘Visual Composer’ in the WordPress Disillusion theme causes this.
The standard picture slider apparently uses a similar setting or script, that causes the standard slides to narrow down to only a part of the screen – whereas when you deactivate the pluging again, the slider takes its original page width again.

I love the plugin, but as pinkish1 mentioned, I cannot combine it with my theme – any suggestions ?

    Thanks!

Herbertvdp, I turned to a paid plugin (only $15) and it works perfectly.
