Conflict when using User Role Editor Pro

    I’m experiencing a conflict when using User Role Editor Pro.

    When I activate this plugin, I can’t see your “Create shortcode” button at the top of the Shortcoder page. But when I deactivate this single plugin (User Role Editor Pro) the issue goes away and I then see your button.

    I’m not sure who to ask, meaning you or the developer of User Role Editor Pro.

    Can you advise? I would like to use the Shortcoder plugin, but I can’t while using the User Role Editor Pro plugin.

    Please let me know what might be causing the issue (if you can identify this) or what you might recommend.

    It looks like user role editor plugin is removing some permission to create new shortcodes.

    Can you please check the settings in user role editor pro plugin and see if you can see if the user has persmission to create shortcoder ?

    For more info on this, I guess you can talk to user roles editor plugin author saying shortcoder uses “custom post type” and with the plugin activated create button is nto shown.

    Aakash, Thanks. Not sure why this would be since I am set up as an administrator with User Role Editor Pro. I’ll ask them as well. But it seems odd since I have full permissions with the URE Pro plugin. If you have any other thoughts, please let me know.

    Hi Gary, In URE settings, can you find your role and see if it has permission to create shortcoder ?

    If you are not able to find, please create a temporary administrator account and share me the details in the contact form – https://www.aakashweb.com/contact/ I’ll login and have a look.
