After a lot of investigations I found out there is a conflict between the plugin W3 Total Cache and this plugin.

Testmails are sent, but the actual notifications are not. The notifications emails do not appear in the email log plugin.

After disabling “Object Cache” within W3 Total Cache notification mails are being sent again.

Is there something we can do about this? I’d like to enable Object Cache again, but don’t want to lose the notifications.

    Thank you!

    Hi @hadebe,
    Thanks for your message.

That’s most odd as BNFW is a WP Admin plugin and shouldn’t be affected by W3TC which should only be caching the front-end. I know there’s been a number of issues with the W3TC plugin and the recent update a few days ago seems to have caused more problems.

Can you confirm that W3TC is only operating on the front-end? If it’s affecting the WP Admin then it might be due to a bug in W3TC or a setting that needs changing somewhere.

    Thanks,
    Jack

    Hi Jack,

I’m not sure how to detect if W3TC is only operating on the front-end? We using default settings and as far as I know it only caches (non-logged in) user views.

    Thanks, Hans

    Hi @hadebe,
If you’re happy with using the Web Inspector in your web browser, you should be able to find out what’s going on.

I also recommend reading all the documentation you can on W3TC and seeing if the settings are correct for your setup and host. Some hosts don’t support certain features but W3TC won’t relay this information to you.
