Conflict Gravity Forms Backgroun Task with EDD

    I use GravityForms (Popular Form Builder) and EDD on my site.
    after update EDD to latest version Backgroun Tasks of Gravityforms like send Email Not Work…
    In GravityForms System info page show this error:
    Background tasks: NO
    cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 2001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received
    plz solve this conflict…

    cURL error 28 is a very generic error with respect to PHP and WordPress. This error does not indicate to easy digital downloads. There may be several other issues related to this error.

    Can you please confirm one more time that this error is still coming and Gravity from background task is not working?

    by deactivating EDD everything is good ??

    Thanks for your response.

    OK. Can you please provide me some steps to generate the issue at my side?

    For example,
    1) You have created an Gravity Form and added it’s shortcode to any page.
    2) Now you have submitted the form.
    3) Now no email is getting?

    Your steps will help me to regenerate the issue at my side so I can take a look at it.

    hello again !

    I did two experiments:

    test 1:
    a. Just install Gravity Forms
    b. go to “system status” in sub-menu of “FORMS” and everything is good.
    c. Then Install and active Final EDD
    d. go to “system status” in sub-menu of “FORMS” and give this error:
    Background tasks: NO
    cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 2001 milliseconds with 0 bytes

    test 2:
    a. Install and activated both of Gravityforms and EDD.
    b. Add New Form and activating send Notify to an Email
    c. submit a form and recive it on my wp-admin by NOT give on my email address.
    d. deactivating EDD and try again… email successfully sends

    I Test on some versions of gravityforms from 2.4.5 to 2.4.5.8

    Hi,

    Thanks for your patience.

    I have checked your Test 1 method with Gravity Form 2.4.5.10 and Easy Digital Downloads 2.9.11.

    I can see “Background tasks” to “Yes” in both the case. There is no curl error or any other error are there.

    Can you please update plugin to the latest version and check?
