    I have setup Google Site kit with Search console, Google Analytics, PageSpeed Insights Connected.
    I have been activated Siteground Optimizer.
    I do manual add Google Tag Manager install at my site, but when i use Tag Assistant (by Google) on my Chrome, it show 4 Tags installed

    As you can see on above image, number 4 is manual code i added. I dont know the first 3 code com from. I think Google Site Kid add it automatic because i saw it in database.
    How can i fix it?

    Thanks for reaching out. If you want to share your Site Health information privately using this form we can check your current setup and the existing snippets on your site.

    Depending on how you’ve setup your site you may notice additional tags when using the Tag Manager Chrome extension, with the current implementation of Analytica via Site Kit inserting a global site tag (gtag.js) file which looks similar to the below:
    src=’https://www.googletagmanager.com/gtag/js?id=UA-183******-1′

    Apologies to SiteGround, may be this is Site Kit problem, not related to SG Optimizer because another site using LiteSpeedCache has same problem.
    Sorry SiteGround Team!

    Thank for sharing. I’ve checked your site and the details provided and I do see duplicate Analytics snippets on your site, although pointing to the same property.

    Does the same issue occur if you temporarily deactivate your LiteSpeed Cache plugin? If so we can then re-enable and check the settings.

    I dont use LiteSpeed Cache but SG Optimizer.
    Disable SG Optimizer Cache Plugin and it show 3 GA tag as image above.

    That last one (red border) is my Manual add code. The first 2 i dont know how and where does it come from?

    @huyhoanet thanks for your reply! I see the same using Tag Assistant.

    1) The first two are from Site Kit’s Analytics snippet which I can see has been inserted into the site.

    2) It looks like you are also using the Analytics Tag in your Tag Manager configuration. You should choose to use one or the other for UA Tracking.

    To remove Site Kit’s Analytics snippet, go to Site Kit > Settings > Analytics > Edit and toggle off Let Site Kit place code on your site. You can still configure the Account, Property, View in the settings to make use of Site Kit’s dashboards (screenshot).

    @reneesoffice i removed GA tag by disable Let Site Kit place code on your site as you said. But still got 2 GA tag, 1 Google Analytics UA-xxxxxx-x (which dont know come from where) and other is Google Tagmanager which is the tag i want to be keep.

    I set up exactly as guide on that page. And only 1 Google Analytics: Universal Analytics
    See screenshot below:

    And only 1 tag has been added to Tags

    @huyhoanet thanks for your reply!

    It doesn’t appear like you have Site Kit active currently, but I’d be happy to inspect the site again when it is active to see if I also get the same. It might also be good check after clearing your site cache in a fresh browser to ensure that is not involved.

    Also note that if you are using the Analytics tag in Tag Manager, Tag Assistant will detect both scripts which sounds like what you are describing? One for the Analytics tag inside the Tag Manager container and one for the Tag Manager container itself. Here’s what I see for Tag Assistant on the site now and it will be the same if you leave Site Kit’s Analytics snippet removed.

    @reneesoffice thank you for your support.

    Site Kit still activated and it’s work.

    Also note that if you are using the Analytics tag in Tag Manager, Tag Assistant will detect both scripts which sounds like what you are describing?

    So, it will be fine if it show 2 tag, 1 Google Analytics tag and 1 Google Tagmanager, right?

    @huyhoanet thanks for your reply!

    Site Kit still activated and it’s work.

    Ok great! I haven’t been able to spot the meta generator tag it places in the source of the site when activated, which could be an indication of deactivation. Of course, if there are any issues with functionality please let us know.

    So, it will be fine if it show 2 tag, 1 Google Analytics tag and 1 Google Tagmanager, right?

    Yes, this detection is correct.
