In Performance>Minify there is an HTML minify option. Try to disable that setting, purge caches and see if the issue persists.

Could you please go to Performance => General and enable Debug Mode for Minify, then enable Minify itself, visit the website in incognito mode and provide us with the debug logs found in the cache directory? This should help us figure out what exactly in the minify process breaks the Divi theme.

As per @brigittepica2:

“I turned to Elegant Themes, as it was their builder that didn’t work.
They advised me to test all with only the parent theme activated (I was running a child-theme) and the builder worked in the parent theme.
Then they said to remove the child_theme and install it again under a new folder name – and now all is working fine!”
