• Hi,
I had to remove W3TC as it was in conflict with WPML and maybe an other plugin.

    The problem:
While entering my english website url (or clicking in my favorites, or clicking on a link to it), it was launching the website and then downloading the page (code page).

I resolve the problem by deactivating all plugins excepted WPML, and then testing each plugings one by one.

I don’t know if this is only a conflict between W3TC and WPML, or if another plugin could create also this plugin.

However, I thought good to tell you.

    Best,
    Davon

We had similar issues with W3 Total Cache, that’s why we developed a new caching plugin (true story). Is your WPML setup with different domains or do you add the language to the current URL?

    OR

    Hi Ben,
2 different domain yes, I’m happy to find I’m not alone ??
I used to try on 2 website 2 different solution, but the website which encounter this problem has 2 different domains.
And this is the translated domain which is downloaded, not the original one.

I used WP Super Cache but had an issue on another website, which was caching and not actualising it’s content (posts) so I tried W3TC, and it worked well, and I decided to set it on this WPML website, and since few days had problems with it.

Now I came back to Super Cache working fine with WPML.
I’m curious about your new caching plugin, is it WP Rocket?

We had the same issue with 2 domains, WP Super Cache worked, but it has less features. You can download my plugin here https://borlabs.io/ if you need help, just get in contact with me ??
