• Hello.

I’ve installed the last version of Woocommerce plugin to set up a little shop on my website with downloadable items and I’m realized that is some conflict between NG and Woocommerce.
Whit NG activated, the downloads through Woocommerce doesn’t work properly: the customer receives an email with the link to the downloadable file, but it’s 0 bytes. But when I disable NextGen then works fine.

Any idea to how to fix that?
Any help would be much appreciated!

@germansc – This is a new conflict we have not been made aware of until now. Which specific version of WooCommerce are you using?

I’m using the last version, 2.2.6. Although I read on Woothemes forums of people that is happens since 2.2.4.

@germansc – To the best of our understanding it was expected the WooCommerce releases would correct for these conflicts. Apparently, as you are noting, they are not.

Please send us a Bug Report (https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/) with your site specifics so we can get a better look at the conditions on your site that is causing this to happen. We will likely need log in (and FTP) credentials for your WordPress installation as well, please include those with your Bug Report.

    Thanks!

I just discovered this same issue. I thought it may have just been .zip files, but it’s images or any other file. With NextGen deactivated, all is fine with Woo. Definitely need some help!

I realized that we were not using another plugin created by another author, ‘NextGEN Download Gallery.’ When I uninstalled it, my downloads behaved as expected. No more 0 KB files. Thanks for your help.

@theoilrevolution1 – Thanks for the update. Have you advise the other plugin author of the issue(s) you were having with their plugin active?

I don’t have that plugin installed, and am still having the issue. I have reported the bug, and sent all site credentials.

I have the same problem using WooCommerce tab manager and next gen. If I disable one then the other works fine. All are running on the latest versions.
I dont want to have to choose between these great products. If I upgrade to the Next gen pro version will that give me more opportunities to solve this problem
