confirmation on activating checkbox missing

I think there should be some simple javascript:confirm() confirmation upon ticking a checkbox (aka “this task is completed”) both on the admin message board (…./wp-admin/index.php) and shortcodes like [todochecklist], because it is too easy now to make a mistake by misclicking..
