Confirmation mails works from widget form but not from page form.

    Hi everybody.

    In both cases the confirmation message is displayed and the new suscriber is added to the list of subscribers but only receives mail if you subscribe from the widget form. If you subscribe from the form page no confirmation email is received.

    I’m not seeing this on my sites. Are you using the Widget that is part of Subscribe2 or a stand alone one? What does the confirmation message say? Is it something you have written or is it the Subscribe2 default message of “A confirmation message is on its way!”?

    A link to your site would be helpful if that’s possible.

    Hi mattyrob.

    I’m using the widget that is part of sucribe2 and the confirmation messages are the same in both forms: “Subscribe to this blog – A confirmation message is on its way!” in the floating alert window and “A confirmation message is on its way!” replacing the text field. The suscription page is https://www.dosotres.es/suscribirse and the widget is in the footer after clicking on the +.

    Anyway, in my last tests it worked from both forms so I assume that something is wrong with the server.

    Okay, the ‘floating window’ probably means that you have enabled the AJAX form but on you site you are not really using that – you have deploy the regular form rather than a link. In the Subscribe2->Setting page under the Appearance tab uncheck the AJAX option. That may help overall but it does seem to be working now so maybe it was a caching issue.
