    Hey there,
I just started working with this plugin (Version 4.1.15) for a new customer of mine. First thing I noticed was that no confirmation mail has been sent though the plugin told me: “Confirmation mail has been sent successfully”. Yes, I checked the junkmails and the problem seems to exist since early august (No confirmed subscribers since then). Any idea how to solve this? Thanks a lot for any help!

    Hi,

Sorry for the inconvenience you had.

Can you please check whether the test email is being sent by the system or not?

You can send a test email from Email Subscribers > Settings > Email Sending.

If it doesn’t send a test email, there must be some issue with the email system of WordPress. You need to fix it first.

Please check it and let us know how it goes.

Hey Malay, thx for your support. Updating the SMTP password in the settings doesn’t help with the confirmation and test mails. But changing the mailer from WP Mail to php does. Post notifications seem to been sent at anytime and via WP Mail – could that be?
    Thanks, Sylva

Hey again, changing the mail-sending-methode to PHP Mail fixed the problem.
So thx again and kind regards, Sylva

    Hi Sylva,

    Thanks for the update.

If PHP Mail fixed the issue, then there must be some issue with WordPress Mail.

Emails from Email Subscribers will be sent out using PHP Mail but there are chances other WordPress emails are not being sent out.

So, it’s good to fix the WordPress Mail issue. Please check why it’s not being sent out.
